At Citizens’ Pop-Ups, we believe in bringing people together to better this world one meal at a time.
Each of our multi-course dining experiences benefit a cause! For every meal that Citizens’ creates, we donate 25% of all profits
to a wonderful charity. Citizens’ seasonal menus can be tailored uniquely to you and can also partner with a charity of your choice!
We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area and cater private events, host public meals, cook company dinners,
bake wedding desserts, teach instructional classes and much more!
Also, Citizens’ uses organic, local ingredients from small farms and farmers markets. All of our meat is grass fed, free range,
local and, whenever possible, organic. Our seafood is always caught using sustainable fishing practices and is
local whenever possible. Citizens’ specializes in gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan dining options.
Our dishes can be customized to meet any special dietary need.
Citizens’ is run by the very talented Chef Jennifer Vascotto. She graduated at the top of her class from the
Culinary Institute of America and completed a prestigious externship at No. 9 Park Restaurant in Boston, MA.
Chef Vascotto moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to train under several Michelin Star rated chefs and quickly
moved up the ranks of each kitchen she worked at. Also, Chef Vascotto has apprenticed with masters of
Whole Cow Butchery at Macelleria Cecchini in Tuscany, Master of Soba Noodle at the Tsukiji Soba Academy
in Tokyo, and fine wines at Rust en Vrede in Cape Town, South Africa.
